Trends in STEM

Day One is about zooming out before you zoom in. You'll see where women in STEM are heading: through hard data on trends and founders, a look inside high-performance computing, and a real story from a woman who's lived it, before rolling up your sleeves in a hands-on AI skills session you actually choose. By the end of the day, you won't just know more. You'll be able to do more.

Lead with impact

Day Two turns inward. You'll unpack the burnout research that explains what so many women in STEM feel but rarely say out loud, hear a second powerful story of a woman who's navigated the field, and then choose your own path forward: befriending your Imposter Monster or sharpening how you communicate with anyone in the room. The goal: leave not just informed, but ready to lead as yourself.

To reframe burnout in women not as a failure of resilience, but as a dysregulation problem rooted in biology, environment, and invisible social conditioning. And to present practical, sustainable pathways back to internal safety and alignment. What I will cover: - The real drivers of burnout: Latest research on chronic stress, nervous system dysregulation, and the hidden load women carry (emotional labor, identity fragmentation, “always-on” roles). - Why current solutions fail women: A critical look at productivity-driven advice, “self-care” myths, and why most interventions ignore the body and reinforce burnout cycles instead of resolving them. - A new model: self-regulation as the foundation: Introducing a biology-first framework (curiosity → self-trust → courage) with practical tools to restore energy, rebuild internal safety, and make aligned life and work decisions.

A personal reflection on building a career in tech across borders and generations. Anastasia will share her journey from growing up in a modest family in Belarus to becoming a global data and technology leader. She will reflect on finding her path over time – studying mathematics, starting her career in banking, and later moving into technology – and the challenges of adapting to a new country and industry. The talk will also touch on the importance of balancing strong technical expertise with social skills to grow into leadership roles.

From Saboteur to Sidekick: Working with your Imposter Monster

In this workshop, you’ll learn a new way of thinking about imposter syndrome – your Imposter Monster! You'll meet your Imposter Monster, and we'll discuss ways to turn them from a whisper that makes you feel small to a champion who helps you do hard things. This research-supported method encourages participants to think of imposter feelings as a response to their environment rather than something that is wrong with them. We’ll explore the 5 types of Imposters and how to interact with your Monster based on your type. The results: - Healthier perspective on imposter feelings. - Decreased stress in situations that were previously difficult. - Improved ability to do brave things.

CQ 101: How Important Is It to Know Who You Talk To?

The workshop reveals why technical leaders struggle with "people problems" and provides a single, battle-tested framework to diagnose and prevent team miscommunication. Attendees will discover that most conflicts, unclear delegation, and endless meetings stem from a single root cause—and learn a systematic approach to fix it. The transformation? All ticket sales are final and non-refundable. Since the event is fully online and every ticket includes recordings of all sessions, you won’t miss out if your schedule changes. If you can’t attend live, you can also transfer your ticket to someone else at no extra cost — just let us know before the event.

We're announcing speakers on a rolling basis. Sign up for updates to be notified as each speaker is confirmed. We expect the full lineup to be public at least 6 weeks before the event.

All talks will be recorded and made available to ticket holders within a few days of the event. You’ll need to attend the workshops live, though! Workshops will not be available after the event in order to maintain privacy for the conversations we expect may be held within them.
